CBS' NCIS: Origins this Tuesday night paid tribute to franchise vet David McCallum, who passed away in September 2023 after 20 seasons as NCIS M.E. Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard.
In doing so, the prequel series offered up a very special something that NCIS' own tribute episode did not.
