Ahead of its Match Madness break, Matlock left viewers with quite the arrested development.
When last we tuned into the CBS drama, Olympia (played by Skye P. Marshall) and her team of Matty (Kathy Bates) and Hunter (Henry Haber) were poised to win their case against a shady contractor when Shae (Yael Grobglas), Jacobson Moore's jury consultant/"human lie detector," was arrested for bribing a juror and promptly led away in handcuffs.
What follows this Thursday at 9/8c is Grobglas' very best Matlock showcase to date, as Shae is confronted not just with time behind bars, but the stark realization that Matty Matlock may be her only hope of acquittal.
Here, Grobglas shares her thoughts on Shae's dilemma, why the "no makeup" episode was "freeing" to film, and what showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman (for whom she previously worked on Jane the Virgin) brings to the table. Grobglas also teases her upcoming visit to CBS' NCIS.
