MGM+ announced Tuesday that it has greenlit an eight-episode adaptation of Rules of Prey, the first novel in author John Sandford's Prey long-running series. Ackles will headline the affair as Lucas Davenport, a former Minneapolis PD detective who is drawn out of seclusion to investigate a series of confounding murders designed to send a message specifically to him.
