Hmmm, this much I know: When I asked showrunner Erica Messer if any "new" romance was on tap for next season – which, remember, picks up a full year later – she teased, "Garcia has some fun stuff...."

Can you provide any juicy spoilers for NCIS: Tony & Ziva? I'm enjoying every minute of it so far. --Ally
A flashback in this Thursday's episode revolves around a pre-marital counseling exercise in which Tony and Ziva must complete for the other the thought, "You hurt me when...." (So get your guesses in now on how each of them respond!) The Sept. 25 episode, meanwhile, is quite a showcase for young star Isla Gie, whose Tali demonstrates a craftiness her parents must admire.

What was the song that played on NCIS: Tony & Ziva during their kiss on the boat? --Dee
That was “Doomed To Loving You,” written by series composer Will Bates and Jen Awad. (It's a pre-existing song from Bates' library, and was not written for the show.)

Any updates on Cross Season 2? --Joel
Seeing as filming on Season 2 wrapped a year ago, I'm hearing that fans can count on getting an exciting first look — plus some casting news – at the Prime Video hit's New York Comic Con panel happening Thursday, Oct. 9.

Is Prime Video still in development on Kevin, the Aubrey Plaza-written animated comedy following a house cat? --Shirley
I am told that Kevin — which actually was ordered to series over a year ago — has now wrapped production (or is close to it).

Anything on Matlock Season 2? --Janice
As teased by the fall preview I filed for TVLine in the before times, Patricia Belcher's Mrs. B "has a big arc" in Season 2, showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman shared with me. "I can't say what happens, but she is pretty integral to this season...," the EP hinted. "You'll see her in the second episode, and then again in the third, and... we'll talk more after that." 

Any scoop on the Lucas and Simone dynamic in Season 22 of Grey's Anatomy? --FitzAndLivLove
Though the couple had split up before the hostage crisis — and she’d unwittingly slept with a new intern — they seemed to get back together in the Season 21 finale. But, showrunner Meg Marinis noted (as part of TVLine's Fall Preview phoner), “when she and Lucas had that kiss, that was right after being held hostage. That came out of a moment of gratitude of being alive. So they're really going to have to examine what that means.”

Seems like the flavor of shows at Starz is shifting. Is the Eleanor of Aquitaine series they put into development in 2020 still in play? --Donnie
Yes, Eleanor of Aquitaine is still in development at the cabler, though there are no updates to share at this time.

Is the 24 movie that Brian Grazer announced last summer still in active development, or is the project dead? I would love to know the status of the movie.... —Justin
As you very likely recently read, veteran 24 EP Howard Gordon has come up with an idea — it's not clear if it's still for a movie or now a limited series – that franchise front man Kiefer Sutherland says is "really strong." A rep for Disney, which now owns 24 producer 20th Television, however maintains there is currently nothing to report.

This Thursday's Episode 5 (of eight) opens with a flashback to Rick Flag Sr.'s first run-in with Harcourt after Junior died inside Jötunheim. In the present, meanwhile, we get a brutal showdown, plus the arrival of a character other than Chris in the parallel universe.

Do you know if Ghosts Australia will stream on Paramount+ in the North America continent? I cannot see CBS airing it like they do NCIS: Sydney (which airs on Paramount+ in Australia), since CBS' schedule for the TV season is filled out already. --Maria
I am told that there are no current plans to stream Ghosts Australia on Paramount+ here in the U.S.

Will we ever see Mark's ex-fiancée on Countdown? Or find out why he broke up with her? --Haleh
If the Prime Video thriller scores a Season 2, the answer is a big ol' yes. "One thing I teased from the jump of the series, but I've always thought it was a Season 2 thing, was Meachum's ex-fiancée, Melinda Bates," showrunner Derek Haas told me. "I have a run for Melinda planned if we get a second season."

Can you find out from FX if they have plans to air a new season of American Horror Stories, the anthology series? --Tom
As with all things Ryan Murphy, FX is firmly mum.

Is it true that there’s a Degrassi reboot in the works? Some of the cast said Drake is remaking it after the Max spinoff was canceled. --Maddy
I asked around for you, and a rep for Degrassi producer WildBrain said that while fans clearly are eager for more from the franchise, there is in fact no news to share at this time.
